Try this:

1. Team->Share. You will see an error message saying that the working copy needs to
be upgraded. Click OK to continue.
2. The Share wizard will show a warning message saying that the project contains Subversion
metadata folders. Select the "Continue and have Subclipse just remove those folders for
you" checkbox, and click Next and select your SVN 1.7x repository and the (already existing)
location for your project.
3. Click Finish. You will see a warning dialog telling you that the specified folder
already exists in the repository and that if you continue, that folder will be checked
out to your local workspace and your project will be connected to this existing location.
 This is what you want. Click Yes to continue.
