I just upgraded from 1.6.x to 1.8.x and found that the file locking mechanism
doesn't work correctly. I have the svn:needs-lock property set on all of my
files, and in the previous version whenever I attempted to edit a file in
Eclipse the lock dialog would come up to prompt me to acquire a lock on the
file. The new version of Subclipse does not do this. It seems to ignore the
svn:needs-lock property. This is a serious problem for those who prefer to set
up their CM tool to require exclusive locking before editing files.
