Message Hi,

although there were lots of discussions about unversioned files in the
past I'd like to raise this again, as it renders the Synchronize view
almost useless for me.

My problem is that the "Outgoing Mode" of the "Synchronize" view is
constantly cluttered with unversioned files (though I know I can
deselect them in the commit dialog...).

Occasionally I'd like to use the Synchronize view to get an overview
about the changes I did to a working copy - wrt. svn! Seeing all the
unversioned files there is not a helpful reminder of "forgotten-to-add
files" anymore if there are hundreds of unversioned files.

In my case, working copies will _always_ have lots of unversioned files,
because they are created during code generation, compiling and running
tests.
I know that svn has a number of ways to have files ignored (but I also
recall lengthy discussions about doing this globally/recursively, which
is not possible as far as I know).

So, for me it is just impractical/impossible to have all generated files
ignored appropriately. I have to deal with deep directory trees and
non-uniform names of unversioned files.


Maybe I just missed an option for the Synchronize view which does this?
If there is no such option - I really miss it ;-)
