So you are doing File -> Import, then selecting SVN -> Checkout Projects
from SVN on the first page of the Import Wizard, then selecting
/Root/branch/B from your repository, then selecting "Check out as a
project in the workspace" on the "Check Out As" page? You are checking
out to the default workspace location (last page of wizard)?

I'm unable to recreate your problem using this recipe (BTW, you can do
this same thing by selecting /Root/branch/B in the SVN Repositories
view, then selecting "Checkout..." from the context menu).

If you'd like to attach a few screenshots of your import steps, and of
what happens as soon as you use Team functions, maybe that would help us
debug your problem.

Mark,

When I used the word "import", I was talking about the "Import" Wizard
in Eclipse. The wizard allows you to checkout a folder from a repository
into a new project.

When I check out /Root/branch/B into a new project, the initial checkout
works fine. The project looks ok and the root folder in the working copy
is the only one with the SVN metadata.

The problem is as soon as I go to use any Team functions, it starts
acting like the working copy is corrupted or that nothing is committed.
It adds like nothing is in the repository.

However, if I look at the same project folder in TortoiseSVN, everything
works as expected.

I'm seeing the same behavior with multiple repositories that are all on
1.7.1.

The only way I can get Subclipse to work for me is to check out a
repository at it's root level and then just import the branch I want as
a project.
