Mark,

I owe you a bit thank you!  That did the trick wonderfully.

Thank you very much for your help.

Have you tried the Repair Permissions option in the OSX File Utility?

Well the Repair Permissions option will make sure all of the "system"
folders are set properly. So it is worth giving that a try. Maybe
/tmp is wrong for some reason.

I'm new to OS X so that never occurred to me. I'm validating the
permissions first and will then try to repair the disk permissions. I'll
report back if that helped. Thanks for the suggestion.

Doug

Message Hi -

I'm using the latest version of Subclipse 1.2.3 on Eclipse 3.3.0 Build id:
I20070625-150 on OS X 10.5. I recently upgraded to Leopard from 10.4.
Since upgrading (I think) I've had problems committing to SVN repositories
from Subclipse. None of my projects in Eclipse will commit now. When I
commit I get output like this in the console.

commit -m ""

    svn: Commit failed (details follow):
svn: Cannot create temporary file: {1}

The problem is the last three lines, obviously.

I think that the upgrade to Leopard from Tiger set a directory so that my
user account doesn't have write access. I suspect this because if I run
Eclipse as root am able to successfully commit. Anyone have any idea where
this folder might be? I set the entire Eclipse directory to allow
read/write for all users but that didn't fix the problem.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
